In response to recent protests by anti-Israeli activists stationed outside shoe stores on weekends calling for boycott against “Israel’s apartheid” and driving shoppers away, pro-Israel organizations have answered the call to shop at Teva Naot. As a result, the sales turnover in Canada has increased by 10% in the past three months, according to the CEO. Teva Naot has nine stores in Canada with an annual sales turnover of some $20 million. In 2012, the company should open two more stores in the Vancouver and Toronto areas and enter the country’s malls for the first time.
